Experiential agency is seeking an Art Director.

Art Director Duties / Requirements:
Interpret project strategy into a visual story and articulate your vision to the internal and external stakeholders
Work closely with the accounts, production and strategy teams to identify a clear project strategy and target
Proactively identify executional approaches & techniques to visually capture and represent the projects creative narrative
Proactively identify additional creative resources
Manage any additional recourses brought on to the project, this includes in-house and freelance resources
Take a key role in client pitches and articulate and sell a concept effectively
Participate in initial brainstorms and ideation
Proactively identify executional approaches & techniques to visually capture and represent the projects creative narrative
Manage artwork, die lines and workflow's across multiple brands while adhering to differing style guides and brand requirements
Manage branding grids and workback schedules to ensure all files are delivered on time
Build final print ready files, and see elements through the print production process to ensure design integrity, color accuracy and image quality are met
Balance quality work with hard deadlines in a fast-paced, fluid environment
Speak to and defend design decisions to internal and external stakeholders
Maintain a consistent strong point of view and be able to articulate creative ideas internally and externally
Execute custom design elements for event collateral such as digital activations, stage backdrops, wall graphics, booth design, banners, signage, invites, etc.
Develop fresh and unique graphic design solutions to the projects diverse lineup of challenges, bringing to life the client brand and program aesthetic
Develop graphic work collaboratively with the experiential designer to ensure graphics that are accurately and seamlessly integrated into the overarching event design.
Work closely with the accounts & production to ensure designs are on target for clients needs
Be open and willing to identify improvement points for Associate Designers and help guide and teach them
Understand and keep up with emerging trends in graphics, type, and experiential design
Shows initiative to acquire new technical skills to amplify knowledge & design abilities
