Well-known entertainment client is seeking a Product Analyst to join their team. This is a 40 hr/week, remote, freelance opportunity that extends up to 6 months. Onsite work may be required when offices reopen, in Glendale.

The ideal candidate has experience in video streaming and OTT, knowledge/experience with subscriber lifestyle and measurements, strong leadership skills and the ability to build and develop successful product teams.

PRODUCT ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Define the vision, tenets, principles, and high-level priorities for large, sophisticated marketing data product workstreams (e.g. subscriber data strategy)
? Work with cross functional teams to develop high-level roadmaps and detailed delivery plans, user scenarios, acceptance criteria, and success measures
? Ensure products/solutions are purpose-built to address core business questions and operational needs
? Partner with analysts, data science, data engineering, UX, and program management teams to build requirements, develop, test, and deliver high-quality products and features that meet end-users and internal business needs
? Lead and collaborate on all business readiness activities including product testing, end-user education, rollout, iteration, and support

PRODUCT ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Minimum of 8+ years in product management
? 5+years of managing a team
? Bachelors' Degree in Engineering, Math, Science, Economics or equivalent
? Knowledge and experience with subscriber lifecycle and measurement
? Video streaming and OTT experience
? Successful track record of building full-scale data solutions
? Experienced with large scale enterprise applications (Hadoop, Hbase, Spark, Kafka, Elastica Search/Sorl) and basic programming machine learning (SQP, Python, Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, Couchase, Oracle, MySQL)
? Experience utilizing both qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis techniques and familiarity with common data science models and approaches to problem-solving
? Experience demonstrating leadership, self-motivation, accountability, and a standout colleague. C-Suite/Board communication skills
