Our client, a local Municipal District, is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join their team. This is an ongoing Part-time, hybrid, freelance position in Houston, TX.

Ideal candidate must be willing to come into office.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR:
+ Samples proving follower and engagement growth
+ Ability to shoot creative video with phone and quickly share on social media
+ Professional experience with Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and LinkedIn
+ Proficiency in using automated software like HootSuite or Buffer

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR:
+ Support management with developing and maintaining an aesthetic and brand that reflects the Companys core values and ideas.
+ Partner with VP of Communications and Communications Director to create original content for all social media platforms
+ Directs the day-to-day updating, maintenance, and continuity of social media platforms Facebook and Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
+ Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
+ Create organic photo content at company's offsite parks
+ Researches sources and current events to use on public media networks
