A recycling company is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join their team. This is a remote, long-term freelance assignment.

Hours will be 40 hour per week.

The Senior Product Designer will report to the Design Manager and lead all projects for the company's product team by gathering and studying information about users behaviors, attitudes and emotions.

The Senior Product Designer will collaborate with team members to monitor aspects of the user experience and makes recommendations for solutions as needed to satisfy user/business requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience
Proficiency in site maps, wireframes, prototypes, functional specifications and style standards
Understanding of current web technologies and core web graphics formats
Understanding of user-centered design principles
Creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills
Ability to work as a team player and interact with other technical teams
User research and analysis
Usability audits and testing
Expertise in Interaction Design, Information Architecture,Visual design and branding
Working knowledge of HTML, and CSS is a plus
Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, XD, or Sketch is a plus
Experience using and creating design components and pattern libraries
Ability to create high fidelity prototypes, mockups, and micro-interactions
Can scope and estimate efforts necessary to execute requirements


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Synthesizes Stakeholders, Research, UX, UI, Content, and Development
Strikes the perfect balance between creative, strategic and tactical requirements
Applies research as necessary in order to make product improvements
Excellent collaborative skills, cross-pollinator that keeps all necessary teams in sync
Experience shipping products that are used by mass audiences
Will contribute to website, mobile applications, and email
Creates, Maintains documentation for UX, UI guidelines
Provides support for large-scale design initiatives
Develops competitive assessments
Conducts moderate to large-scale site heuristic reviews and work-flow analysis
Defines, requests and incorporates relevant and recent UX research and data from customer feedback to appropriately inform design decisions
Defines UX performance metrics (error rate, abandon rate, average number of clicks, perceived easiness, etc.) for every project to track its success
