SEO Strategist - Fully Remote/Off-site

Our non-profit education client in Washington, DC is looking for a SEO Strategist to assist their team with an upcoming website project.

This position is 20 hours a week through the middle of December 2021. You must be available for meetings during business hours.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing SEO content strategies to maximize the quality and volume of inbound traffic from searches. Your resume should showcase metrics highlighting your results.

Duties of the SEO Strategist:
- Work with the Digital Content team to develop and guide SEO strategies and best practices
- Develop and deliver SEO KPIs
- Develop website style guidelines for standardization of page elements to optimize searches
- Perform extensive SEO audit and analysis of the websites current SEO and content
- Develop taxonomy and metadata strategy to determine site architecture
- Develop keyword ranking strategy
- Develop linking and overall URL strategy
- Create standards for Title Tags, Meta Descriptions, additional fields on webpages
- Identify gaps and SEO needs across the website

Requirements of the SEO Strategist:
- 7+ years of experience working on SEO strategies
- Bachelor's degree
- Expert knowledge of SEO best practices
- Proven success creating and implementing SEO strategies that resulted in organic, traffic and growth
- Experience working across digital teams
- Experience being involved in website builds
