Our DC agency client is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team for a freelance to possible full-time opportunity.

This is a hybrid role - 1-2 days onsite in DC metro office

The Social Media Manager is a part of the marketing communications team, working with senior staff and clients to support research, planning, message and content development and evaluation for organic and paid social media efforts for Federal and private sector accounts.

Social Media Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
- Minimum 3 Years experience
- Must have experience with Federal clients
- Create and organize editorial calendar aligning with client goals and timelines
- Optimize content according to social media best practices, results tracking and ad analytics
- Partners with clients and team members with strategy, insights and recommendations to reach target audiences.
- Monitor and research conversations, mentions, and relevant information; analyzing content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, Sprout Social, LinkedIn
- Agency experience preferred
