A leading non-profit in Washington, DC is looking for a Marketing Manager with publishing experience to join their team full time. Relocation provided.

This Publishing Marketing Manager will develop overarching strategy and be leading product marketing and outreach efforts to engage current and prospective authors and reviewers.

You'll manage existing initiatives including strategic marketing planning and execution of services of their Publications platform. In addition to these existing initiatives, you'll be tasked with strategizing new tactics to achieve the overall objective of strengthening relationships with this market, instigating brand loyalty and increasing submissions?areas of focus include future manuscript assistance services and reviewer education and rewards programs.

You'll brainstorm, write and produce content for a range of channels and formats, including, social media, blog posts, emails, white papers, video scripts, presentation decks, infographics as well as internal and sales enablement collateral.

Publishing Marketing Manager responsibilities:
- Manage integrated marketing campaigns to include content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, SEO, etc. for services, products and initiatives
- Improve researchers? publishing and reviewing experience through creation, participation and support of projects targeted at authors and reviewers.
- Act as the marketing advocate and the marketing communications lead on key high priority projects to develop strategic marketing communications plans, detailing the roll out of communications and key performance indicators.
- Manage the content organization of the Publishing Center. Ensuring that the platform is optimized to guide authors through the publishing process and clearly lays out the path to obtain the necessary information to successfully submit and track a manuscript.
- Gather, analyze, and report on campaign success using web analytics tools to inform and optimize ongoing content marketing efforts.

Publishing Marketing Manager qualifications:
- 5-8 years of marketing experience in developing multichannel marketing campaigns
- Experience with a STM or business publisher is preferred
- Thorough understanding of strategic development and writing and executing marketing plans
- Knowledge of web analytics, marketing automation, and digital advertising analytics preferred.
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Able to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities in fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Bachelor's degree
