UX Designer

Our client is a global EdTech company that is looking for a UX Designer to join their team on a fully remote freelance contract on an ongoing basis, approximately 40 hours per week.

The UX Designer must understand Agile processes, working alongside product managers and engineers, to efficiently produce wireframes and product features based on user stories.

*Candidates MUST HAVE a strong portfolio that showcases proficiency in producing wireframes and design concepts for digital products*

UX Designer Responsibilities:
- Design and build interactive simulations for products based on user behaviors, research, and use-cases.
- Collaborate with other designers to define product solutions that align with optimized experience and brand guidelines.
- Apply understanding of user needs to implement product enhancements that drive UX.
- Manage multiple projects at a time, ensuring deadlines are met and solutions are achieves in a new and strategic way.
- Work in an agile environment to quickly produce design concepts and visuals for forward thinking UX concepts.

UX Designer Requirements:
- 3+ years UX design experience ; EdTech experience a plus.
- Proficiency in design prototyping tools including Figma or Sketch required.
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop required.
- Comfortable managing projects independently while also collaborating with product teams as needed.
