We're reaching out to see if you're interested in a new Sr. UX role with Amazon. This is a 40 hours per week, 11-month contract, located onsite in Atlanta

Amazon Photos is seeking a systems-thinking UX Designer who craves to craft engaging, elegantly usable experiences and interactions. Youre hungry to apply your superior user experience and information architecture skills, visual design flair, problem-solving abilities, and soft skill expertise. You balance your passion for inspired, compelling, elegant, simple designs with a highly analytical nature, precise execution, and a relentless drive to design, build and deliver end-to-end experiences.

Key responsibilities
Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings
Design conceptual wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications, and functional prototypes
Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency on Amazon projects
Use business requirements, usability findings and market research to develop scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements

8+ years of design experience
An available online portfolio
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
Proficiency designing and prototyping with a variety of tools such as Sketch, Principle, Framer, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, After Effects

Experience designing customer facing products across platforms
Experience working on a collaborative team, publicly white-boarding, and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
Comprehensive understanding of the current state of web and mobile technology and best practices
Strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, web-based information architecture and design
Demonstrated strong visual design expertise with a masterful understanding of color theory, typography and an ability to produce fresh, simple, elegant layouts interactions and iconography
