Our client, an in international life-sciences nonprofit in Horsham, PA, is looking for a Social Media Manager join their team for a long-term freelance assignment with opportunity for Full -Time!

This is a fully remote opportunity for 40 hours a week.

The Social Media Manager will be:
• Develop and manage social media strategies to deliver a balance of brand, product and thought leadership messages in support of overall marketing strategy and organization goals.
• Lead the day-to-day social media channel operations and actively nurture engagement and growth on community pages.
• Create a regular publishing schedule and implement a content editorial calendar to manage social content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
• Working closely with the Global Content Manager, assist in developing promotional and editorial content for use on social media and other key marketing channels, including email and web.
• Collaborate with other members of the Global Marketing Team, as well as other internal stakeholders to develop, implement and optimize a mix of organic and paid campaigns that drive measurable results and align with broader organizational strategies.
• Work with in-house graphic designers to develop compelling ad creative and best practices for social ad visuals. Knowledge of design studios such as Canva, highly desirable
• Monitor social conversations across channels to identify new opportunities for engagement and enhanced interaction with others in the life science community.
• Regularly develop and deliver comprehensive campaign and channel reporting to key stakeholders, including meaningful insights and actionable take-aways aimed to optimize future campaign performance.
• Serve as key point of contact for business units seeking to enhance their knowledge of social media, providing training / coaching as appropriate to help develop brand ambassadors.
• Stay abreast of new developments and trends in the social media space, embracing new technologies and marketing innovations to improve performance, and adopt as relevant and appropriate.
• Ensure that marketing campaigns are executed in accordance with established in-house writing style and content guidelines.

The Social Media Manager will have:
• At least 2 years of experience in social media with proven effectiveness driving successful channel grown and high-performing campaigns.
• Ability to balance strategy development and tactical execution, with experience planning and implementing all aspects of a campaign, including strategy, testing, creative development, customer segmentation, and budgeting.
• A creative and innovative thinker who is also able to engage team members to successfully bring new ideas to fruition.
• Adaptable and responsive with the ability to adapt to meet changing requirements and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented, solutions-driven, organized, multi-tasker who works well under pressure with ability to manage complex projects to produce effective, high-quality, campaigns
• Experience using content management platforms, such as Hootsuite as well as native platform account administration and other social media listening tools.
• Knowledge of business process and project management systems, particularly Asana, is a plus
