Our client, an award winning Fortune 500 company, is looking for a freelance, Proofreader to assist and work with their marketing team for the next several months.
This is a 20 hour per week opportunity. This position will begin remote, with flexibility to be onsite if needed in the future.
The Proofreader will be:
- reviewing, editing creative projects including campaigns, emails, blog articles, brochures, signage and web copy
- assisting the copywriter and other marketing team members with tone of messaging while following their Writing Style Guide
- review existing work and suggest edits to reflect messaging
- comfortable working with various departments and leadership within the company
The Proofreader will have:
- 1-3 years proofreading experience from a wide range of media and marketing channels
- ability to follow their Writing Style Guide and edit quickly on demand
- background in English, journalism or marketing would be helpful
