Our client in South Fl is seeking a Copy Proofreader to join their team for a Full-Time Onsite position. Social Media/Content Writing skills a Huge Plus.

The Copy Proofreader will work perform a quality check reviewing and checking documents for errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling and formatting effective advertising, and communication messages prior to creative/marketing concepts being released to client-partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
+ Editing, proofing and/or assist in rewriting clear, persuasive, original copy.
+ Proofread and correct internal and external communications for accuracy of spelling, style, spacing, punctuation, and grammar.
+ Reads typescript or proof of type setup to detect and mark for correction any grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors, font style, size, text spacing, check images, tables, and charts.
+ Work with team to assist in brainstorming of ideas and concepts for Social Media/Content.


REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelors degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Journalism and/or related field.
+ Knowledge of standard proofreading practices, procedures, and concept is also required.
+ Attention to details, proofreading, identify and rephrase grammatical errors to ensure an error-free text.
+ Must be highly organized, SELF-STARTER, assertive, flexible and able to prioritize own workload.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email and phones.
+ Spelling/Grammar Skill: Able to correctly assemble words and apply them in writing.
