Our client is one of the most sought after names in Social Media & Tech, and they are currently seeking a freelance Content Strategist to join their team.

The Content Strategist will be responsible for:
- Develop and manage world-class content that is culturally relevant and social-first
- Develop and lead editorial calendar and planning for the company's social channels in partnership with internal creative teams, communications, outside agencies, and cross-functional partners
- Lead the story planning and selection process for a comprehensive social editorial program
- Influence the company’s social strategy across owned channels
- Identify key moments to activate the company brand across the editorial calendar through a mix of rapid response and evergreen content
- Partner with strategy on qualitative and quantitative analysis of cultural, community, technological, media and market trends to inform strategic and creative development
- Support the development of a robust measurement plan to ensure that content strategy is evaluated correctly
- Become a champion of the company social community, making sure our content reflects the values and needs of our audiences

The Content Strategist will have:
- 7+ years of experience as a content marketer or editor
- Experience working for a well-known publisher creating compelling stories and social content
- 5+ years experience managing comprehensive content and editorial
- Ability to use quantitative & qualitative data to inform, measure, and improve content
- A conceptual thinker who has created breakthrough social content in the past that evolves a brand
