Our financial client has a HOT need for a REMOTE Marketing Communications Specialist with up to 5 years of experience within a corporate marketing department for a 6 month contract, offering 40 hours/week, and starting in late April.

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for the creation and delivery of specific programs and tactics as guided by the yearly Marketing Plan. In this position, it does require an understanding of a full-service marketing operation with an emphasis on graphic design and development, content editing and development, collateral management, digital delivery/placement and internal communication.

Marketing Communications Specialist Requirements:
- Demonstrated strength in moving a project from concept into straightforward and clear content and layout that inspires and motivates the user.
- Familiar with digital channel best practices, including email, public and client websites, social, intranet, etc.
- Create new content based on an enterprise level 'style' guide and contribute to the development of Brand 'style' guide for any specific nuances
- Proficient use with presentation and design applications including PowerPoint, Photoshop and/or InDesign.
- An eye for stellar design demonstrated by providing a portfolio or relevant work samples
- Experience writing for different formats/media to communicate key messages.
- Ability to understand complex topics and translate into concise, clear content for employees or target segments.
- Awareness and sensitivity of developing content with inclusive and diverse audiences in mind, ability to create a sense of belonging

Marketing Communications Specialist Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a solid ability to manage activities independently and use keen judgment when advancing work to completion.
- Competency with organizing, managing detail and keeping projects on schedule is a key attribute.
- Manage multiple priorities and work with firm-wide department leads and systems, including legal, compliance, as well as recruitment marketing tools, and the firm's intranet
- Ability to interpret firm’s philosophy, structure, culture and branch business needs and client financial needs to create effective marketing and communication materials.
