UX Program Manager

The Bay Area's best-known search engine giant is seeking a UX Program Manager to assist their team.

This role will be hybrid/onsite 2-3 days a week. The team is located in San Francisco and the office is public transportation accessible via company shuttle. The client is requiring COVID-19 vaccination for this position.

Top Responsibilities for UX Program Manager:
-Partner with UX team leads in key program decision-making, including: requirements gathering, scoping, and coordination of teams and approval processes to launch an MVP design system.
-Identify team and project needs with regards to process, tools, documentation, asset management, etc, and implement or drive required changes to ensure team members are working at optimum efficiency.
-Act as a bridge between UX, Engineering, and Product Management (PM) teams, connecting all three groups and making sure interdependencies are understood and planned for and all are aligned and focused on the critical path to success.
-Represent the team in critical meetings to track actions, milestones and deliverables.
-Help define roles and responsibilities and facilitate decision-making, surface risks and challenges, and help resolve blockers.
-Proactively develop and improve process, tools, documentation, and asset management, to ensure designers are at optimum efficiency.
-Proactively identify risks, prioritize them, and create plans to resolve in a timely manner.
-Must be willing to work across global time zones with distributed teams in Bay Area and EMEA (London and Bucharest).

Ideal Qualifications for UX Program Manager:
-BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
-Experience working with Consumer Hardware.
-Experience working with design groups.
-5 years of experience in program management with familiarity with design, user research, and user-centered design development and experience working with design, research, and engineering professionals.
-Experience defining and tracking programs and allocating team members against shifting priorities.
-Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally and build strong, strategic stakeholder relationships.
