Paid Media Manager - San Diego

Our client, a digital advertising agency client is looking for a Paid Media Manager to join the team full-time.

This Paid Media Manager is responsible for:
- Plans, builds, and execute campaigns across multiple search engines
- Foster account growth through successful campaign management
- Compose and present strategic reports that illustrate campaign progress
- Proficient day-to-day media management across platforms/ vendor
Mentor and provide technical guidance and training to Media - Operations Associates and Managers
- Facilitate best practices, perform account performance reviews, and identify areas for improvement
- Keep current with digital trends and foster team development
- Account Planning and Maintenance
- Align with Paid Search Strategy team on tactical estimates for media proposals and ongoing opportunity for growth
- Measure performance relative to KPI’s
- Identify areas for strategic enhancement – keyword applications, budget/bid optimizations, ad copy creation/testing, etc.
- Collaborate to outline opportunities for improving performance and recommendations for client approvals
- Implement optimizations, budget adjustments, and ad updates
- Maintain ongoing logs/ shared documentation
- Diligent campaign budget tracking/ reconciliation
- Reporting on and Organizing data, analyze metrics, and provide actionable insights
- Support Paid Search Strategy team, as necessary, in client presentation and meeting prep

This Paid Media Manager needs:
- 5-7 years of digital media experience – expertise in SEM
- Proficient in Google Ads, Bing Ad, Google and Adobe Analytics, Kenshoo, Pacvue
- Proficient in Excel, able to perform: pivot tables, index/match, vlookups, sumifs, charts, etc.
- Managerial experience
- Attention to detail and ability to communicate with various teams
- Well-versed in Quality Assurance processes and procedures
- Ability to develop and administer operational guidelines and implementation checks
- Provide support and solutions to internal snags and account/ client complications
- Ability to change strategies as the media space evolves
- A team player who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and customer-centric
