Our client, a media company, is looking for a full-time Account Director to join their in-house team, onsite 2-3 days a week in NY (Rockland County).

Some media experience is required and some level of digital is a must.

The Account Director will serve as the day-to-day management lead on a portfolio of clients. The AD proactively anticipates and manages business, creating meaningful client and agency relationships that enhance retention and lead to revenue growth. The AD also participates in department initiatives and collaborates with product areas (i.e., media) on growth strategies and client engagement.

Account Director Responsibilities
Articulate the companys trade model and value proposition in an easy-to-understand manner and develop strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Keeps VP/SVP manager appraised of important developments; presents suggested solutions to problems
Work across the company to mobilize resources required to ensure client requirements are met
Maintain timely and accurate data on client activity
Stay current on client business and industry trends and how they impact relationship
Generate reports/documentation using SalesForce, PowerPoint, Word and Excel for internal and external use
Develop familiarity with company systems that impact client business (trade credit reports, status reports, People Soft, Media Ocean, Datorama)
Develop business reviews and executive summaries as needed

Account Director Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) preferred or equivalent experience
Six + years of related business /media/marketing experience is required
Proficiency in Word and Excel, PowerPoint
Digital Media preferred, agency background a plus
Willingness to travel (to cities in USA, typically 4-6 times per half year but not on day 1 or soon after)

This is a full-time, hybrid (onsite in Rockland County, NY) Account Director opportunity starting ASAP after 2-3 rounds of interviews!
