Our mass media client is seeking a full time DIRECTOR OF MARKETING to join their team!

This is a hybrid role, working 2x/week in casual office environment on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood.

The ideal DIRECTOR OF MARKETING candidate has experience in consumer product marketing and has both a business brain and creative brain. This person must have Asian culture and market experience.

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING Responsibilities:
-Partner with the CEO and product team to achieve a cohesive and effective brand identity
-Lead, delegate, and produce marketing content and convert sales
-Take ownership of the seeding and influencer marketing
-Lead and develop the marketing and content platform
-Ensure effective content to hit the target audience and ensure goals are consistently met
-Create and implement content on a daily basis across the company's platforms
-Manage content release schedule while ensuring all posts are accurate, punctual, efficient, safe and on brand
-Communicate with the product team to maximize content, sales within the e-commerce platform, and content strategy on social media
-Identify emerging Asian subcultures and new communities that the company can grow into, in order to expand their audience reach and strategize growth
-Develop cultural content relevant to all facets of the company's brand

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING Requirements:
-Minimum 5 years of marketing experience
-Strong network of marketing, and cultural contacts for platform content creation and distribution.
-Must have a strong understanding of social media marketing and influencer lists.
-Understanding of publishing, marketing and analytic tools, and social marketing technology
-Extremely passionate and knowledgeable about fashion and culture content.
-Knows how to communicate credibly and sensitively whilst maintaining brand voice and integrity.
-Ability to creatively develop tactics and campaigns that drive business goals such as audience growth, engagement, acquisition, reach, and maintenance.
-Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.
-Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a set of highly-skilled team members.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends if needed.
