Our client in Arlington, VA is looking for a Packaging Artwork Production Manager to join their team full time.
Responsibilities of this role includes:
-Implement decisions that impact the team’s overall strategy
-Responsible for the strategic packaging initiatives and leading product packaging implementation within the team’s brand strategy
-Lead the development of packaging from creative design through the artwork production, prepress and file delivery process
-Oversee the design and creation of packaging guidelines, including technical guides, artwork standards, etc.
-Establish and implement processes and workflows for the packaging execution
-Communicate with other departments and teams (purchasing, label compliance, QA, branding, etc.)
-Liaise with external vendors to ensure application of all required information to product packaging
-Oversee packaging execution across multiple product categories and varying packaging structures
-Collaborate resources to deliver accurate artwork within scope, on time, and on budget
Requirements for this role:
-3-5 years' of packaging design project management experience
-Experience preferably in the CPG / FMCG or grocery retail environment
-Strong knowledge of consumer product packaging requirements
-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat required
