Our client is a Brand Consultancy, and they are currently looking to hire a full time Director, Business Development.

This is a remote role for now due to COVID, but you will be expected to work onsite once they return to the office. You will also be expected to work EST hours.

Please note because our client is a Brand Consultancy, their creative deliverables are presentations, trend reports, etc.

Director, Business Development Responsibilities:
- Development of growth strategy and execution plan to grow and gain new clients
- Oversee lead generation process - identifying key prospects and qualifying them
- Lead the introductory sales process and proposal development process
- Work with Project Management, Account Services and Finance to accurately budget, staff and scope new projects
- Manage the pipeline - tracking all client opportunities from intake to close
- Once a client project is sold through, manage the transition to the engagement delivery team

Director Business Development Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in a Business Development role
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field
- Exceptional presentation skills (both written and verbal) with confidence to present to large groups and senior executive stakeholders
- Understanding of Executive and C-Suite organizational challenges
- Experience with developing proposals, scopes and participating in pitches is a must
- Experience selling consulting services/solutions and technology products, with exceptional networking abilities.
- Experienced with Keynote, PPT, Excel, Google Docs, and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
- Resilient with an ability to pivot and adapt to changing business challenges
- Strong leadership, negotiation and influence skills
- A curious individual with a love of culture and trends
