Our client, and an events and digital agency, is seeking a Marketing Director to join their team full time.

This role is remote to start until about September 2021 and a laptop will be provided. WFH Flexible thereafter.

The Marketing Director will be responsible for:
- Build, manage and execute global marketing plan, campaign, and budget for optimal performance and results on a global scale.
- Adapt campaign planning and measurement benchmarks within the Marketing team.
- Lead customer-centric thinking and craft programs to meet those target markets.
- Craft messaging and positioning in the market; conduct ongoing competitive and market research and analysis to continue refining our value proposition.
- Build, further develop, and leverage relationships with industry media to evangelize the brand, mission, and movement in the market.
- Work with internal stakeholders to plan, create, and launch creative campaigns and compelling stories around announcements and initiatives that resonate with audiences.
- Establish goals and metrics for meeting marketing deliverables; work with marketing team to establish team and individual goals and metrics.
- Ensure all marketing programs are successful, metrics-driven, and goal-oriented.
- Create and oversee a calendar of events such as webinars, conferences and thought leadership contributions.
- Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary.
- Provide tools and materials to enable the sales team to function effectively and be the day-to-day conduit between Sales and Marketing team to align efforts and drive the marketing efforts in support of sales goals.
- Direct, manage and refine the organization’s social media campaign implementation.
- Manage and measure marketing campaign costs and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs.
- Utilize data for marketing campaigns, interrogating the organization’s databases and external data.
- Negotiate with PR, media, and digital agencies and oversee campaign development.
- Develop digital and traditional marketing campaigns across multiple platforms providing specific channel planning.
- Spearhead efforts to increase SEO visibility and website success in brand goals and lead generation.
- Use research to develop, implement, and measure strategies.

The Marketing Director will have the following qualifications:
- 10+ Years of experience in a Marketing role
- Deep understanding of the sales and marketing funnel, lead management.
- Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles in a fast-paced organization.
- Marketing mindset with ability to translate marketing tactics to achieve sales goals and prove ROI of marketing efforts.
- In-depth knowledge of market research.
- Experience managing a departmental budget.
- Knowledge and practical experience with SEO, digital marketing tools, and related software.
- Experience contributing to global strategy. Cross-cultural intelligence a must.
- Ability to consider both the big picture and tactical executional elements.
- Experience managing, growing, and coaching team members
- Experience with agile marketing practices and superb marketing and research skills.
- Understanding of Marketo, Linked In Sales & Marketing tools ideal
- Working knowledge of google suite, microsoft suite, outlook,
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Problem solving, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
