Agency Copywriter - WFH during Covid-19

Our client, a creative agency representing a global financial services company, is looking to hire a full-time Copywriter, remote to start but eventually onsite in NYC (downtown).

Financial services experience is a plus but not required; experience working on insurance, banking or tech would be helpful.

Advertising agency experience is required.

The Copywriter will work on copy for print, websites, digital content, and video scripts but the ideal Copywriter is flexible since the work changes from day to day, from updating a line of copy on a website one day to coming up with the "big idea" for a campaign the next day!

Agency Copywriter Responsibilities:
• Write, research and conceptualize creative, innovative content that brings readership and encourages sharing
• Work with the creative team to hone ideas and turn around great work quickly
• Ensure that the work that is delivered meets the goals of the brief
• Write copy that is within brand guidelines for this financial client
• Be responsible for writing and ideation of creative that brings readership and enhances a brand
• Work on a range of projects including digital campaigns, articles, landing pages, social content and more
• Create and repurpose content for different usages working within brand guidelines
• Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from the initial brief
• Work closely with the Account Managers and Designers to take a brief from beginning to end
• Ensure consistency and quality across all written content
• Present and articulate concepts to clients

Agency Copywriter Requirements:
• 5+ years writing in an advertising agency or design firm
• 3+ years’ experience writing collateral, ads, landing pages, digital content, video scripts social content
• Prior experience managing cross-functional projects and possess well developed project management skills to work with more than one brief at a time
• Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences
• 3 years of experience presenting ideas to clients, the ability to clearly articulate ideas
• 3 years of experience working with both digital and print based projects and a solid track record of delivering big concepts and ideas
