Our Media / Publishing client is currently seeking a Freelance to Full Time Associate Post Producer to join their in-house video team.

The Video team produces a wide range of content from original long form pieces to high-quality branded content and editorial content.

The Associate Post Producer will be responsible for:
- Manage the day-to-day scheduling of a high volume of content, across all their brands
- This position reports to a Post-Production Supervisor
- Build out an edit schedule and determining the scope of work
- Book time with Video editors, AEs, and graphics artists, or sourcing freelance editors as needed
- Manage project schedules and ensuring projects stay on-track
- Prepare assets foe Editors assigned to the project
- Coordinate between editors and out-of-house colorists and audio mixers to facilitate project round-tripping
- Work with production to determine any schedule changes and communicate to the team
- Closely monitor hours and budget for projects
- Managing day-to-day communication with producers & key edit stakeholders

The Associate Post Producer will have:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a high-volume production company, network, or similar environment
- Proactive and solution-oriented
- Strong attention to detail, efficient and resourceful
- Strong organizational skills, and can self-manage their own deadlines
- Strong knowledge of post-production and administrative software used by the company
- An affinity for process and workflows; but can also understand the importance of improvisation when needed
- An ability to anticipate client needs before they are explicitly communicated
