Our client, a VC-backed start-up culinary events platform that is re-imagining the dining experience, is seeking a Director of Events Marketing to join their team full time.

This is a leadership role with equity, working alongside the C-Suite to ensure events (their product) are compelling, scalable, and . If you have a background in luxury event marketing/ production, marketing, and a passion for food and drink this role is for you.

**Please note, you will be required to be ONSITE for events. Safety precautions are in place. Please inquire about the schedule.**

The Director of Events Marketing will have the following responsibilities:
- Continuously improving the product, ensuring everything about the event experience is compelling and consistent (food, service, venues, music, decor, and more)
- Attending and running 10-12 onsite events monthly until familiar with processes, budgets, and team (about 1-year)
- Helping vet and manage spaces that work operationally and provide the right guest experience
- Collaborating with Director of Events to create the brand’s ambiance (furniture, music, lighting, art)
- Collaborating with the CRO to help manage in-house marketing (newsletter, website, strategic partnerships); helping understand and optimize our CAC (Cost of Acquiring a Customer)
- Ideating effective ways to drive foot-traffic to our events, both through paid strategies and strategic initiatives
- Determining the voice, style, and character of the brand to garner mass consumer adoption and to continuously drive acquisition
- Leading the Resident aesthetic, revamping how our brand is represented onsite and digitally (social and website)
- Helping manage PR agency, content creation team, and digital agency
- Help with scaling of operations throughout multiple markets in the US
- Collaborating with the Director of Operations and Events to recruit and manage chef + sommelier talent
-Collaborating with the chefs to refine their menus (creativity, portion size, ingredient choices, presentations to guests) and wine (creativity, presentation to guests), to ensure consistent, compelling product
- Responsible for approaching chefs for press opportunities and coaching them through responses, asking for information to develop content, and ideating more ways to drive value for culinary team.
- Always on the lookout for innovative collaborations, rising chef talent, and ways to improve the value proposition

The Director of Event Marketing will have the following qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience concepting, planning, and executing consumer events for luxury brands
- Strong luxury event experience or Luxury brand marketing experience
- Proactive, ‘no-task-too-small’ team-player that is willing to roll up their sleeves to build something incredible.
- Passion for food and drink a must
