UX Designer - WFH during Covid-19

Rate DOE, $54+ per hour
Our client, a global financial services company, is looking to hire a UX Designer for a 6 month freelance role with the intent of converting to full-time, remote starting out.

The UX Designer will be working on P2P (person to person) personal banking digital payment tool so experience with payments tools / mobile payments (such as Venmo or Zelle) is desired.

The product is mainly mobile but also has a desktop version that some small business customers utilize.

UX Designer Details:
• Collaborate with the lead designer who handles strategy to improve the CX of this payments product
• Work with the group lead (there are two full-time designers on the team currently)
• Perhaps a day would be spent in a Figma brainstorming/idea sharing session
• Must be proactive and comfortable working alone but also with product + tech + design teams
• Run competitive analysis: how does it look when a dollar is sent?
• Create user flows, prototypes and wireframes
• Experience in mobile design would be great
• Designers must be able to speak to their design process and how they go about solving a problem
• Designers ideally share their thought process in their portfolio
• Experience working with scrum teams is helpful, deliver their designs
• Experience working with banking payment tools is strongly desired
• Experience working in financial services or a similar industry is a plus
