Interaction Designer - WFH during Covid-19

Starts Mid April
Duration 40 hours/week, 3 months
Status Freelance to full-time
Rate DOE, starting at $39/hour
Our client, a global financial services company, is looking to hire a methodical Interaction Designer for 3 months of freelance with the intent to convert to full-time, remote to start but ideally eventually onsite in NY/NJ.

The hiring manager and their Design Leads need to see portfolios with real world examples that show experience taking large amounts of data and converting it into a better customer facing experience. What was the problem? How was it reconfigured? They are mainly concerned with the story of it and the process vs. just the final screen.

The role is a bit of an Information Architect / Interaction Designer hybrid - a collaborative, librarian mind is ideal.

Sometimes working in design/UX in a financial environment can feel like death by 1,000 cuts but this work won't be that way! The digital projects this Interaction Designer will work on are all internal facing and have significant spotlights on them within the company and buy-in from leadership so it's a healthy challenge with alluring complexity.
