Our client, the internal product start-up of a renowned insurance group, is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join their team full time.
This is an exciting opportunity to help build a range of direct-to-consumer digital platforms from the ground up. In this role, you'll be working alongside to UX designers, marketers, engineers and product manager to design exceptional, engaging, customer-centric digital products. You MUST know / actively work in Figma in order to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities for the Senior UX Designer include:
- designing user journeys, concepts, storyboards, user flows, wireframes and prototypes based on user research
- incorporating usability testing into product iterations
- play and active role in the planning, prioritizing and scheduling of design releases / updates
- design user experiences with conversion optimization in mind
- create UX documentation, site maps, user flows, etc.
- collaborate with marketing and engineering to ensure design is properly implemented and aligned with brand guidelines
Requirements for this role include:
- 4+ year of design experience specifically in a direct to consumer company or agency; elevated sense of design and aesthetics and excellent eye for detail
- portfolio that showcases extensive UX design: prototypes, wireframes, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, etc.; illustration and iconography skills are a plus!
- strong understanding of product design systems and lifecycle
- excellent skills in Figma, Sketch, Creative Suite and InVision; basic familiarity with HTML/CSS, React, APIs, etc.
- ability to create rapid iterations based on feedback
- excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to sell in your ideas
- strong collaborator; you work well across teams and in a fast-paced, start-up like environment
