Our client, a global pharmaceutical media agency, is seeking Media Directors with HCP Pharmaceutical experience to join their team full time.

These roles are remote until they go back to the office. You should be eligible to work in NYC, Chicago, or Philadelphia onsite eventually.

The Media Director defines team direction and ensures all initiatives are closely tied to clients’ business needs and strategic drivers.

Media Director Responsibilities:
-Help define client’s online and offline media strategy providing marketing expertise to clients in both areas including recommending new technologies
-Drive media strategy and analysis, provide media recommendations, and review optimizations to clients and cross-functional teams.
-Conceptualize, build, and implement new media systems
-Plan and buy media as needed including direct account and client service responsibilities; scope and define project parameters based upon campaign objectives
-Manage revenue & projections of the brand
-Handle contracts with Clients including Addendums, IO term discussions, NDAs, TPAs, and MSAs.
-Sell Media capabilities in new business pitches to prospective clients and to grow current clients
-Coordinate and work closely with key stakeholders: S&A, Technology, creative etc. to drive best media product.
-Develop and maintain publisher relationships.
-Hire, Manage, and review a team of experienced media planners – onboard, train, and develop team with an adaptable/flexible management style; maintain high hiring standards; participate in mentorship programs.
-Manage staffing resources for project needs.
-Keep abreast of changes in the marketplace and adjust strategy as needed.
-Communicate customer insight/objectives/goals to client teams, peer groups and internal meetings
-Identify and implement best practices; improve approach, methods and media capability deliverables
-Contribute to spreading media expertise throughout agency

Media Director Qualifications:
-6-10 years of experience in Media
- Experience working on HCP Pharma or healthcare brands(oncology, MS, Arthritis a plus)
- Proficient in cross-channel media tools and response forecasting
- Deep understanding and application of technical media concepts and principles and how media contributes to client’s overall business goals and marketing objectives
- Expansive knowledge of media marketplace
-Ability to work across all channels and multiple accounts
-Ability to teach mathematical and media concepts
-Effective listening skills to digest, process and guide strategy and problem resolution
-Takes accountability for one's work as well as the work of the team.
- Proven experience managing a team and relatioships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to anticipate problems before they happen
