Our client, an agency focused in the healthcare / pharma space of patient recruitment and conducting studies, is currently seeking to hire an Associate Creative Director to join their team full time.

This role will start off remotely but will absolutely be onsite in Hauppauge Long Island 5 days a week late spring / early summer.

*Please note, due to location of the office, there is no public transportation and access to a car will be necessary to commute once the company is back onsite. There is a free parking lot*

Associate Creative Director Responsibilities:
- Assist the CD in managing the creative process from concept to completion, strong focus on concept development and creative research
- Work closely with the CD to gather patient insights, concept and solve for client’s business challenges and goals
- Manage 2 designers as direct reports, and review/approve design and copy materials developed by the creative team and vendors ensuring that deliverables effectively address client goals and challenges
- Develop conceptual and stylistic direction and execute for a wide variety of clinical research studies
- Create and manage the development of campaign ideas that work across medias, i.e. digital, social, web, print and video (focus is on print)
- Client facing, articulate and ability to explain design decisions and design thought process
- Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print and digital materials for a variety of multicultural audiences

Associate Creative Director Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in the creative field, ideally from an advertising agency with 4+ years of experience in direct report management
- Proficiency with Creative Suite, ability to be hands on when needed
- Proven experience in leading creative direction and design from concept to completion. Pharmaceutical industry and/or advertising experience highly preferred
- An interest and passion in health and pharmaceutical brands as well as their importance to the future of medicine and benefits to the well-being of society and individuals is ideal
- Strong team leadership and management capabilities, managing projects, team and clients as needed
- Experience working directly with and growing client relationships with excellent presentation/client facing skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
