Virtual Events Producer - WFH during Covid-19

Our client, a global financial services company, is looking for a Virtual Events Producer to join their team in a long-term freelance role with the likelihood of extending and/or converting to full-time; remote to start but eventually onsite in NY.

The main requirement is working experience running webcasts from start to finish on standard live virtual events / webcasting platforms (not just Zoom), such as ON24, BrightTALK, Webex Meetings, and GlobalMeet Webcast by PGi (formerly Talkpoint).

Virtual Events Producer Details
• This team just switched from using ON24 to GlobalMeet but they will train on it
• Only Zoom experience is not sufficient – it's not a solid webcasting platform, yet
• There are a lot of email integrations for event registration and landing pages etc. (the two main tools are GlobalMeet and Marketo)
• These are large events for mostly ultra-high net worth clients of the bank, the goal is a premium event experience
• The Financial Advisors do smaller 100-200 person events on their own – this team does bigger events
• Amount of events/week will vary since they’re market driven but in 2019 they did 8-9 webcasts and in 2020 they did over 100 and the demand is still increasing
• Work with internal GTI Team (tech team) to bridge the gap w/ setup for the webcast line with phone and internet etc.
• Assemble (not creating) custom event landing pages, build registration pages, upload transcripts, webcast configuration, testing, etc. for recordings and live broadcasts
• Organizes, prepares and uploads event content (text, images, audio, video, etc.)
• The team is currently the hiring manager, who is hands on, plus one other person managing the webcasts so candidates must be collaborative and ready to join a lean team
• Financial services experience could be helpful but is not required – just experience with webcast / live virtual event platforms is required
• Experience running virtual events from start to finish is required – from the request from marketing partners beginning phase, to getting things set up, email distribution, and then follow up/post-event needs from marketing partners
• An in-depth knowledge of live and on-line broadcast production disciplines is needed
• Video Encoding experience is desirable but not required
