Our client, a well known commercial real estate firm, is currently seeking a Marketing Director with a focus on Business Development to join their team, full time.

The Marketing Director, Business Development must have a background in B2B business development marketing, ideally with commercial real estate or a professional services company.

This position will be a part of the Tri-State and East Region Marketing leadership team and manage the development and strategy of marketing collateral (proposals, print and digital assets, pitch presentations, one sheets etc) for all business development efforts, in collaboration with regional and corporate Marketing teams.

- Lead and manage business development process from ideation to completion, interfacing directly with leadership and brokers throughout the process
- Lead strategy sessions, writing of content and edits/updates on proposals and presentations
- Conduct due diligence with client to develop client-centric proposals and presentation materials
- Deliver final, clean pitch and/or presentation content
- Ensure best practice sharing and adoption across pitch and/or proposal collateral
- Oversee regional business development marketing team members on ongoing pursuits and serve as an advocate for and leader of Business Development processes
- Ensure development of agreed upon expectations, timelines and project milestones with project team, and ensure management of those expectations, timelines and milestones throughout the process
- Coordinate with Marketing peers to share best practices, key insights, and competitive intelligence, and coordinate on overall talent management
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the markets, including key trends, client needs & wants, competitive analysis, future threats and opportunities, etc.

- 8-10+ years of Marketing and B2B Business Development experience, Bachelor’s Degree required
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Real Estate and/or experience with professional services company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (including PowerPoint) and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- 4+ years of managerial experience, ideally across multiple markets with ability to coach/mentor and develop direct reports
- Strong ability to problem-solve with the ability to work effectively, efficiently, and independently in a deadline-driven, dynamic work environment
- Ability to independently achieve successful outcomes on all executed activities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced problem solving, and conceptual skills
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Strong leadership qualities – communication, building and leveraging relationships, managing-up, down and across
