CRM Marketing Strategist - Fully Remote/Off-site

Our client, a well-known global company, is looking for ongoing fully remote support from an experienced Strategic Marketer to develop and optimize CRM strategies that drive revenue for two of their biggest brands.

The ideal CRM Marketing Strategist is a balance of data driven and direct marketer; they use data to support new opportunities but can bring the concept to market.

Experience doing data analysis to develop a strategy to uncover new revenue or drive revenue in some way is needed.

CRM Marketing Strategist Skills and Abilities
• Proven experience creating strategy and driving revenue growth through promotional emails
• Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Analytics or related field, MBA preferred
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in marketing
• Must demonstrate past experience using data to drive new revenue streams
• Experience working at complex organizations with a mix of internal and external agency support to drive revenue
• Experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud, SQL, Google Analytics, HTML, Tableau (they use SalesForce to send their emails)
• Expert at Excel, PowerPoint (PPT is used for collecting thoughts and presenting them to C level executives; the ability to present clearly is most important vs. a flashy presentation deck)
• Soft skills: strong business acumen, direct communicator, comfortable presenting to the C suite and also working with various internal teams and external agency partners

CRM Marketing Strategist Duties and Responsibilities
• Focus is on promotional email (80%), but also app & SMS (20%)
• Analyze marketing from both a qualitative & quantitative perspective, present findings and develop the next iteration of A/B & multivariate testing that’ll drive revenue
• Expert at utilizing customer segmentation to deliver personalized offers that are most relevant to each customer
• Work with external email agency to strategize, develop and ensure accuracy of email content
• Pull data from multiple sources and develop a story that everyone will understand and buy into
• Come up with segmentations and strategies that are executable and rooted in data (understanding the difference between the business vs. leisure market segments)

This is a long-term, ongoing need for freelance support from a CRM Marketing Strategist, fully remote (hours will be 8-4 or 9-5, likely no overtime).
