Our client, a well-known insurance company, is seeking a Remote Content Marketing Manager / Strategist to join their team on a freelance to full time, starting in mid-February.

The first 5-6 months of this role will be a parental leave coverage, and then continuing in a freelance to full time capacity.

In this role, the Remote Content Marketing Manager / Strategist will be responsible for creation, organization and driving the team’s production of thought leadership content, including reports, articles, videos, infographics, social posts, banner ads, and other content formats, to support enterprise and business initiatives. On an interim basis, you will also mange two Content Producers, organize weekly productivity reports and serve as main counterpart for priority business campaigns, including content creation for social posts, landing pages, banner ads, etc., and in addition, serving as a PM on projects when needed.

Additional core responsibilities include:

- writing content, developing content strategy, overseeing production, and managing campaign production centered around thought leadership
- lead content production in alignment with new branding initiatives
- drive SEO optimization of existing thought leadership content and create content based on insights and analytics
- writing articles and thought leadership content, web page copy, and copy for any content needs—from short to long form.
- partner with internal stakeholders and marketing teams to ensure thought leadership and enterprise content is utilized effectively in their marketing efforts

Requirements for the Remote Content Marketing Manager / Strategist include:

- minimum 8-10 years of content development and marketing experience, preferably working on B2B accounts in an agency setting
- strong writing and thought leadership content creation experience; MUST have a portfolio of writing samples!
- strong ability to thrive in a small team, overseeing two Content Managers
- experience with email marketing creation and analysis
- expertise in Content analytics, including Google Analytics, email (Pardot), and social media platforms; proficient in SEO best practices
- experience in creating content related to thought leadership, research, and webinars
- ambitious, flexible and resourceful: ability to find creative ways to get things done effectively and collaboratively
- knowledge and experience in creating content for different channels and audiences
