Our client, one of the world’s largest full-service global communications and public relations agencies, is seeking an Associate Creative Director (Copy) to join their team as a full time employee.

**Please note that this role will be remote for the time being and a laptop will be provided to you!**

The Associate Creative Director (Copy) will be responsible for:

- Development of campaign concepts (45%), strategic planning and client development (15%), tactical copywriting (25%) and team/agency mentorship and collaboration (15%)
- Developing sophisticated/complex creative concepts for sustainable campaigns, platforms and activations
- Presenting and selling work to full internal teams and clients, developing trust with both audiences
- Leading a multi-disciplinary team (art, copy, design, UX) to develop and deliver creative concepts and ideas that are founded in insights, across all platforms, for existing clients and new business pitches
- Owning the brand voice and storytelling for our clients across social, digital and PR channels
- Handling 4-5 projects at one time
- Going "all hands on deck" with the creative team when a client requires it
- Playing a major role in the research, planning and development of comprehensive communications marketing campaigns
- Proactively identifying and pursuing creative opportunities “beyond the brief” to deliver unexpected ideas to existing and prospective clients
- Providing inspiration and direction to the team throughout the process, from brief through production
- Effectively and consistently managing strengths and weaknesses of self and other members of the team
- Recruiting, mentoring and managing more junior creatives, providing feedback, guidance and support
- Fostering a positive creative culture and nurturing creative talent across the agency
- Defining and building modern creative communications across an immense and varied base of clients, from start-ups to Fortune 50 brands, across a variety of verticals: healthcare, food & bev, CPG, etc.
- Working with a diverse team of account service, research, planning, design, digital and creative professionals that are always pushing for the “better brief”

The Associate Creative Director (Copy) must:

- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Have previous agency experience
- Be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite
- Have worked on integrated campaigns with experience (or understanding) of both an earned and paid media
- Have proven experience working with an array of clients
- Have a portfolio that shows a range of work including long form samples, video scripts, social media copy, website copy, etc.
- Be able to blow out an integrated campaign across all platforms
- Have a versatile tone
- Have a strong grasp of purpose-driven work as well as the "internet culture"
- Have a curious mind with a vast amount of interests and passions outside of “work"
- Previous experience with healthcare or regulated industries (understanding FDA guidelines) is a huge plus!
- Passion for purpose-driven work is a huge plus!
