Our client is the design department of a major tech company seeking Customer Experience Designers to join the team. These are remote, 40-hour/week, 6-month contracts with possible extension.
The Customer Experience Designers will primarily:
- Generate multiple credible design solutions with guidance
- Participate in divergent/convergent group work
- Exhibit mastery of shared tools and software for design
- Understand and apply patterns from the organization's design system to create a consistent user experience
- Participate in user insight gathering activities through observation and note-taking
- Participate in analysis of observations to develop insights and user insight communications
- Articulate user, business, and/or technical reasoning for detailed design decisions in critiques or presentations
The Customer Experience Designers must have:
- At least 4 years of user (or product/customer) experience design experience, preferably focused on service design or customer journey
- Bachelor's degree
- Portfolio showcasing wireframes to prototypes
- Portfolio examples of contributions to multiple design programs or shipped products with a large user base
- Ability to digest and translate complex technical requirements into intuitive experiences
