Our client, a global financial data organization, is looking for a freelance Event Marketing Manager to join their team for the next 6-12 months.

Please note, this role is remote / WFH during COVID-19 but may require onsite work in the future.

In this role, the Event Marketing Manager will join a lean, efficient marketing team, responsible for leading the strategy, organization and execution of a large volume of hosted and sponsored events. Currently, the majority of events take place virtually via Zoom.

Specific responsibilities for the Event Marketing Manager include:

- development and implementation of annual events that support business goals and objectives of multichannel marketing plans
- planning & execution of event marketing campaigns for events, conferences and roundtables
- creating outreach and marketing plans, understanding key audiences, creating event deliverables and timelines
- organizing, coordinating, executing, and measuring ROI for event marketing initiatives; analyzing campaign results and draw insights for improvement
- managing event program budgets
- identifying and setting clear deliverables and action items for team members in sales, marketing and CRM

Requirements for the Event Marketing Manager include:

- minimum 5 years of professional marketing and events experience in an in-house corporate team
- proven experience managing multiple high priority events simultaneously
- deep understanding of virtual event platforms (Zoom), marketing strategy and collateral
- ability to work independently, without hand-holding, and collaborating with teams where needed
- Bachelors degree
- financial services is a plus!
