Salesforce Developer - Remote - WFH during Covid-19

Our client is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join their team for 3+ months starting in January. You will be working on a large Salesforce + Tableau. You will be contributing to the design and development of experiences in Lightening experience.

What you'll be doing as the Salesforce App Developer:
- Working closely with other app developers and designers to implement application functionalities.
- Providing technical feasibility and effort estimate for proposed deliverables.
- Maintaining and updating the system design docs.
- Developing and demonstrating Proof of Concept (PoC) and prototype designs.

Skills and Experience:
Salesforce Certifications:
o Must Have: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer 1
o Nice to Have: Salesforce Platform Developer 2, Salesforce Sales Cloud
Consultant, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Community Cloud Consultant
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ yrs enterprise development exp; 3+ years in configuration/ customization.
- Must be proficient in customizing and configuring Salesforce Lightning Experience.
- Deep experience in Lightning Sales Cloud and Lightning Community Cloud.
- Previous experience implementing Service Cloud channels (live chats, chat bots, etc) and Financial Service Cloud is a plus.
- Proficiency in all aspects of development environment including security and sharing, OOTB automation tools, Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Visual Force, Lightning Components using LWC and Aura frameworks and Salesforce Lightning Design System, data migration approach & tools.
- Proficiency in integrating applications with 3rd party system using REST and SOAP web service API, and exposure to event based (publisher and subscriber model) is desirable.
- 3+ years of experience with web development technologies like Java, .NET, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, XML and ECMAScript 7 and beyond Javascript standards (Node JS, Bootstrap, Angular etc).
- Hands-on experience with implementing accessibility compliance web design (i.e., AODA Double A).
- Software development fundamentals such as knowledge of data structures, object oriented programming, relational database design, and design patterns.
- Design and development experience using Agile project methodology.
- Experience with development, code management and deployment tools (Salesforce CLI, VSCode, SourceTree, GitHub, BitBucket, JIRA, Jenkins, Migration Tool, ANT Scripting, etc.).
