Our Financial Services client is seeking a Freelance Junior Project Manager to work with their in-house agency.
This role starts January 4 and is fully remote, but you must be able to work EST hours. This is a 1 year contract with the potential to extend.
Junior Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing daily Workfront maintenance and managing budgets, timelines, scope of work, resource allocation and deadlines
- Support Account Leads in determining and defining project scope, objectives and goals
- Predict and manage resources to reach deadlines and objectives
- Provide timely updates to project stakeholders
- Champion project management best practices and implement process improvement to improve project communication and efficiency
Qualifications for Project Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related
- 2-3 years of project management or related experience
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
- Excellent communication skills and extremely resourceful
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
