Our Agency client is currently seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join their team. This role will report into the VP of Data Science.

This is a full time position that starts immediately for the right person! This position is remote temporarily due to COVID-19.

Data Scientist Responsibilities:
- Mentor and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Oversee and mentor two Data Scientists
- Build data and intelligence that power our tools and help companies shape culture
- Work with Business and Data Analysts, database architects, engineers and developers to create conceptual, logical and physical data models for our growing portfolio of products and clients
- Manipulate data to produce valuable insights
- Establish nomenclature and categorization of ergodic data
- Create measurement and evaluation frameworks, learning agendas, and building test/experiment designs
- Analyze complex data and establish sophisticated frameworks for evaluating data
- Evolve existing data models

Top 3 Skills:
- Advanced Python skills for Data extraction (there will be a test in python)
- Be able to explain the difference between structured and unstructured data and be able to put them in one cohesive document
- Knowledge of NLP
- Previous managerial experience is a plus

Data Scientist Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in Analytics or Data Science
- Strong background in statistical measurement, including:Correlation analysis, goodness of fit tests, cluster analysis, ANOVA, T-tests, P-tests
- Experience with experiment design especially with non-linear & confounding variables
- Previous implementation of floating point macros a plus
- Strong background with forecasting and modeling is required:
o Marketing mix model variants
o Bayesian and stochastic forecasting models
o Propensity modeling & propensity score matching
- Advanced Excel skills
- Moderate to advanced SQL skills for data extraction, concatenation, and analysis
- 3+ years of experience with XML, JSON, SOAP structure file formats
- Experience working with BI tools for data visualization like Tableau, D3
- Excellent understanding of relational database concepts, impact of design on performance
- Hands-on experience extracting insights using advanced Python skills are required
- Background in building schema (esp. with non-parametric variables).
- Work samples or case studies will be required
- Hands-on experience extracting insights using advanced R or Matlab
- Experience with public speaking, presenting data, and leading training sessions
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and projects
- Experience managing vendors
- Background in social or behavioral science a plus
- Agency experience a plus
