Our client, a global financial company, needs to hire 3 freelance remote Presentation Designers to help their team for 3 months, 40 hours a week, starting late October, with a likely long-term extension.

The Presentation Designer will be working 2nd or 3rd shift (starting anytime between 3 PM – 12 PM, for example 3 PM – 11 PM or 9 PM – 5 AM). Our client will provide a car service when public transportation is not running during those off hours, once the role is based onsite in NYC again (sometime in 2021) but for now this will be remote/from home.

A laptop or desktop at home is required but software, through the company’s platform, will be provided once a candidate has been onboarded (but software will not be provided for the design test, see more below).

The ideal Presentation Designer has advanced information design knowledge and can take sketches and thoughts and turn them into presentations with graphics, information visualizations, and animations. There is also graphic design work in Illustrator and Photoshop but the majority is in PowerPoint. All Adobe elements created will be put into the presentation slides or Word doc. before the final deliverable is sent to the (internal) client.

The hiring manager wants to see relevant and current presentation and design work from the financial / banking industry that shows attention to detail (no duplicated slides or wrong titles, slides aligned properly and consistent formatting, etc.).

The financial experience is important (especially with charts and graphs) since the Presentation Designer will be working directly with investment bankers in a fast paced / quick turnaround environment.
