UX Interaction Designer - WFH during Covid-19

Our client, a global financial company, needs an experienced UX Interaction Designer to join their team for at least 6-9 months, with a strong likelihood of extension or full-time conversion (remote during covid and eventually onsite in NYC).

A strong understanding of how to manage complex workflows is required, along with a portfolio that showcases experience designing guided workflows.

The product owners and users that this Designer will support have complex, fast-paced, informationally overloaded jobs; so, the tools this team designs must add value while adding minimal complexity. The team is supportive and the role has a big impact!

UX Interaction Designer Details:
- Complex workflow management for desktop applications, not mobile (for a corporate banking payment system)
- Participate in daily team meetings with other designers on the team to discuss roadblocks and solutions
- Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to understand their needs and goal
- Establish a more user centered design process
- Strong understanding of IA and product design
- Rethink the current, legacy platform and design system
- Understands at the concept level of what the workflow would be plus brings it together at a higher level with the actual UI and UX design
- Experience working on workflows and complex forms is required: guided workflows for ordering something online, for example
- Enterprise / financial experience is a plus but not required (just experience with any complex workflow is required – any ecomm or client facing platform is fine)
