CPG Product / Project Manager - WFH during Covid-19

Our client, a CPG food company, needs a Project Manager to join their team for a 7 month freelance need (remote to start but eventually onsite in Northern NJ).

The PM will be responsible for managing their commercialization projects, managing one of their largest clients (a large, very well known big box retailer).

Product development project management experience is required.

This is a physical Product / Project Manager role vs. a creative or marketing Project Manager role.

Project Manager Details:
- Heavy product management & commercialization experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills are imperative
- Chasing people for information is often required
- Manage project related documentation, ensuring accuracy
- Participate in regular team meetings
- Assist with ad hoc requests
- Private label customer partnership
- Internal point of contact for CEO, sales team and innovation team
- Comfortable gathering the information needed from various departments: logistics, operations, and innovation/new product development
- Timeline management for commercialization projects (work w/ innovation team on timeline and deadlines to get products / various SKUs ready for production)
- No specific software program experience needed
