Our client, a retail company, needs to hire a strong digital marketer for their full-time Digital Activation Specialist role, starting in August (fully remote, and onsite only 1-2 days a week once their office is open again).

Retail experience is helpful but not required as long as experience driving ecomm sales / conversions is there (B2C, not B2B) and an agency background might work well.

There is already a clear digital strategy in place; the Digital Activation Specialist will explain the strategy to the rest of the USA marketing team and push the strategy (they do some low level/basic digital activation now) but no one is challenging the team or their retail partners on digital strategy.

Digital Activation Specialist Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with the Global digital team and implement/ adapt the global digital strategies and frameworks locally
• Work with retail partners to build the digital marketing plan – how should the plan work around/with or maximize the ability of each retailers CRM tool (paid media, geo-targeting etc.)
• Take a strong look at their local influencer strategy and develop the plan and accelerate new tools like affiliate marketing
• Work with local Ecommerce Manager to advise, integrate and execute within local digital team utilising additional Amazon tools such as Amazon Live, Amazon Posts
• Drive new and innovative digital communications and engagement activities in collaboration with strategic retail partners to enhance retail activation campaigns
• Support channel marketers in formulating local strategy, advising on platform assets needed for local digital campaigns (images, videos, etc.), and ensuring that digital marketing best practices are adhered to
• Deliver regular analysis and reports on the campaigns and communication plans and recommendations for improvement, mapped against key digital and brand KPIs monthly

Digital Activation Specialist Requirements:
• Proven experience in social media, digital and e-commerce marketing (at least 2-3 years driving ecomm sales / conversions)
• Solid track record of developing and delivering multichannel digital campaigns with clear KPIs
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. brand, digital, E Comm, channel) and external partners, including creative agencies and production
