Our client is looking for a Front-end Architect to take a leading role in creating web experiences across a wide range of devices including mobile devices, desktops, smart watches and large displays.

In this role as the Front-End Architect you will be:
- Fully understanding client objectives and asking the right questions to best recommend a technology solution.
- Working closely with technical and creative leadership to define consumer needs, leverage market insights, create business cases, and map out cutting edge front-end architectures.
- Evangelizing good web technology practices both internally and with clients.
- Assessing technology, work and creative for usability, technical complexity, accessibility, performance, and appropriateness for the brand.
- Enhancing brands by creating unique and memorable experiences only our clients could own.
- Leading small teams of technology developers on projects.
- Estimating projects including staffing needs, schedules, roadmaps, and other operational details to successfully track and drive inflight projects.
-Creating prototypes, spikes, architectural diagrams and production code, bringing to life experiences.

Skills and Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of hand-coded HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript, and the DOM
- Knowledge of JavaScript packages, package managers, bundlers, and their use in building complex interactive experiences
- Expertise with concepts related to data flow and component driven architectures (with practical experience based on React, Vue, Angular, or the like)
- Experience using CSS grids and building responsive websites with scalability in mind
- Experience leading development teams and architecting elegant solutions
- Understanding of SEO and accessibility issues and how they relate to development
- Firm grasp of TCP/IP networking and ability to optimize applications for a variety of device capabilities and network conditions
- Solid understanding of browser rendering, and ability to fine-tune an experience
- Ability to cut necessary visual assets from Photoshop and/or Sketch files, and optimize them appropriately
- Experience working with large branded websites, content management systems, E-commerce platforms, and backend frameworks (Java, .NET) is a plus
Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in interactive development or computer science is a plus
