Our global law firm client is seeking a Marketing / Communications Lead to join their team, full time.

This role will focus on supporting the firm's CSR and Sustainability initiatives from a marketing / communications perspective. You should have a passion for or interest in the subjects, but understand the limitations due to everything being corporate programs. There will also be an opportunity to support the firm's pro bono and public service programs.

Marketing / Communications Lead Responsibilities:
- Design, draft and implement marketing and communications around the Firm’s efforts in sustainability and other related areas
- Organize and project manage campaigns and collateral, such as newsletters, reports, videos, logos/banners, and copy for social media and websites
- Assist in handling media relations for sustainability and other areas as needed, including building relationships with key reporters at relevant media outlets and connecting those media contacts to partners of the Firm who serve as media sources; working with attorneys to develop media pitches and to prepare for interviews
- Develop content for media relations and digital communications, including the news sections of the Firm’s website and social media channels
- Handle (manage and draft) award entries and survey submissions
- Develop opportunities to partner with third-party organizations for marketing and sponsorship campaigns
- Manage special projects and other public relations, marketing, and communications initiatives, particularly those that involve the exploitation of new media channels and / or the use of new technologies

Marketing / Communications Lead Requirements:
- 6+ years of related marketing or communications experience, preferably in a corporate / professional services environment, focusing on sustainability or public service is desired
- Successful past marketing communications programs (ability to show SKI / strategy involved)
- Strong communications skills (oral and written) with the ability to proofread and ensure accurate pitches, presentations, etc.
- Some experience in media relations is preferred
- Ability to work autonomously and as a strong teammate / collaborator
