Our client, a boutique agency, needs a Social Media Specialist to assist them onsite at their office in Montclair, NJ for 1-2 days to start but then 40 hours a week ongoing, starting ASAP late January.

Various experience levels are welcome to apply. Our client is open to entry level candidates but also candidates with strong paid and organic social experience.

Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:
• Developing social media content plans for multiple clients
• Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns
• Managing a high volume of daily social media posts and running the calendar
• Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner
• Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance
• Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results
• Working with agency designers to finalize content

Social Media Specialist Requirements:
• At least 1 year of social media experience including planning and managing content
• A thorough understanding of social media management and strategy
• Experience using various analytics software
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus

Our client's office is not easily commutable by public transportation.
