Our client, a nonprofit public health initiative program, is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join their team on an ongoing basis with potential to transition into a full-time staff role for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate has knowledge and a passion for health / wellness.

Must have's:
- Digital Marketing Experience
- Experience in Social Media Channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube)
- Professional experience using WordPress

Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Identify influencers and potential B2B partners and assist with outreach
- Upload content to the company website in Wordpress
- Own and schedule content for social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram
- Craft external email communication to partners, influencers, and bloggers. Assist in the set up and distribution of email communications
- Edit and create short form social media content
- Lead the community management of multiple social media channels, responding to and engaging with participants in a voice consistent with each campaign

The Social Media Coordinator must have:
- 3+ years of professional experiences
- Ability to create engaging short form copy
- An affinity, interest, or passion in the nutrition, exercise, and / or environmental conservation space
- Experience with WordPress
- Experience with analytics and MailChimp. Experience with HTML a plus
