Our client is the partnership marketing team of a global electronics company seeking a Marketing Manager. This is an onsite 40-hour/week freelance contract role in Manhattan that will be 1 year to start and could possibly extend.

The Partnership / Event Marketing Manager will:
- Work with strategic partners / alliances to develop mutually beneficial plans/programs to drive business forward
- Research prospective strategic partners in targeted demos and pursue leads to a successful agreement
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage overall partnerships, including milestones and deliverables
- Organize/manage partner meetings and agency budgets
- Organize, schedule, and manage events/conferences
- Collaborate with B2B, Media, Analytics, Global, and other Marketing teams to ensure that requirements are met
- Create/maintain tracking documents for presentations

The Partnership / Event Marketing Manager must have:
- 5+ years of marketing experience including managing/vetting 10+ local vendor partners at a time
- Ability to organize partner meetings and schedules
- Experience in client services and management in partnerships, digital and social content creation/distribution, event planning/production, and business development
- Ability to provide strategic direction on event formats
- Strong communication and organization skills
- BONUS: experience in researching market trends, targeting relationships, and using business strategy
