Our client, a leading small kitchen appliance brand, needs to hire a full-time Social Media Specialist to be based onsite at their office in Northern NJ (not easily commutable by public transportation).

A passion or interest in cooking/lifestyle blogging is a plus!

The Social Media Specialist will plan and execute strategy and multichannel social media campaigns according to brand guidelines, engage with customers, and ensure content is consumer-friendly and engaging.


Social Media Specialist Role & Responsibilities:
• Work with Marketing Team to create campaigns across Social Media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest
• Create a regular social media publishing schedule and implement a content calendar to plan timely marketing campaigns
• Continuously improve social media pages by analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
• Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends
• Monitor the company’s social media accounts and engage with fans and potential customers
• Launch influencer campaigns to effectively promote the two main company brands
• Creating or coordinating the creation of Social Media graphics content


Social Media Specialist Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
• 1+ years’ experience in social media management
• Experience building a large-scale social media following
• Comfortable with personally representing the brand on Social Media platforms
• Ability to adapt various styles
• Stays in the know with social trends
• Detail oriented and organized
• Passion for cooking
• Creative background and familiarity with Graphic Design preferred (not required)
