Our client, a retail franchise company, needs to hire a full-time Digital Product Marketer who is interested in Digital Transformation to fill a brand new role on their team!

Our client has had a traditional retail franchise business but they grew out of just being local (single stores, locations within big chain stores, etc.) and over the past few years, with the rise of mobile, local consumer buying decisions now include digital as part of the journey.

Digital has inserted itself into the local client experience and our client's website used to just point people to their physical locations but now they’re building out more experiences on their website which is why this Digital Product Marketing Manager must be able to have a sense of ownership for this digital transformation.

Multichannel and conversion optimization, along with digital transformation, are the primary focuses of the role.

Retail / franchise experience would be a plus because of the store locator/multichannel issue and the Marketers proven ability to think through strategic initiatives supporting a variety of functions.

The Digital Marketer's challenge / charge will be to find the process, communicate it, get buy-in around it and execute and deliver on it. Agency and internal resources can assist but this person bridges the strategic vision between those partners and translate that vision into actions.

The ability to know how to make decisions based off of data in order to drive conversion is imperative.

Digital Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
• Become an expert on the product suite and user experience
• Understand and analyze usage across desktop and mobile web in regards to user engagement, retention and monetization
• Define success criteria for website – ranging from ability to engage customers at the top of the funnel to ability to deliver them to the business outcomes they need
• Set targets for performance of site experience, including Home Page and Navigation
• Measure and optimize messages across Home Page and Navigation to maximize the impact of these experiences
• Set the tone for a high functioning team, able to effectively collaborate and influence at scale, while building a culture of optimism and resiliency
